Social Networking Website for Seniors

I read today that there is a website dedicated to social networking for seniors. Of course, sites such as Myspace and Facebook are all the rage for the younger set, but definitely not designed for Baby Boomers and such.

This new site is called 55-Alive! Here, you’ll find articles on several topics relevant to seniors, as well as many other features you might find fun and entertaining. I encourage you to check it out.

There has been research which found that seniors who use the computer actually have less depression than those who do not. The internet can be intimidating, but it can also be a wonderful tool for seniors to stay connected with family, current events, and now…with each other and other issues related to what is important to them.
